Exhaustion can be fun and rewarding...
Today, Proton Business School conducted an outbound training exercise for all the Spring 2010 intakes. What was the highlight of the experience that though everybody was exhausted, they kept on moving forward. Something was driving everyone to give it one more try, to win one more game, to contribute one more thing o the team.

It was amazing to notice this behavior from everyone present there. I observed that this was not because each exercise was a simulated game. Neither was this because each of the exercises was physically challenging at many levels.
It was because each task was doable if brains were applied to it rather than brawns. This every team failed to do in the first quarter of the day. By the time we realized it, we all changed our game plans.
We learned that if we have a team of 5 people, not every person will be strong, agile, brilliant, a good listener,
We have to help and make do with our team and not complain. We have to notice and eliminate their shortcomings by putting in our strengths as theirs.
If we formulate a plan we should stick to it if it is working. And should never deviate.
This does not mean deviating is bad. Bad plans can also be formulated sometimes.
When things are not going as per our plans, it is better that we adopt a new plan,
We stop, we think that what is it that we are doing wrongly... Because hurry will only form a worse plan than before.
We also learned that when we are able to perform once, we should not push it...
Doing so can harm us in dangerous ways...
In conclusion I would like to say that small small activities taught us a lot. To an ordinary eye we were playing outdoor games on a Wednesday...
To the management world, we had one of the best sessions of our life.
